Hibernate mode in windows xp is turn of options that will allow you to save your running application if your windows xp turning on again. With this hibernating mode you do not need to close your application such as office or winamp, because the running application will not be shut down. If you are turn on your computer, then the running application will still appear and work properly just the same condition when you take hibernating mode.
To hibernate you need to activate this hibernating service via power option: take one of this two step to activate hibernate mode.
Start >> Program >> Control Panel >> Power Option >> Hibernate Tab >> Enable Hibernation
or
Right Click on Desktop >> Properties >> Screen Saver >> Power >> Hibernate Tab >> Enable Hibernation
Now you Hibernate Turn off mode ready to use.
To use Hibernation you need to hold shift key and you will see Standby text turn to Hibernate.
Start >> Turn Off >> Standby(press and hold shift key) >> Hibernate
